The Writers’ Loft is a vibrant writing community in MetroWest Boston
In 2013, I decided that this writing thing was just too hard to do alone. I rented a loft office space for writers to use. I still remember how scary it was to sit in that huge space all alone! But it didn’t take long. Now the Writers’ Loft is a community of more than 1000 dedicated writers and illustrators! We run classes, workshops, agent/editor events, conferences, and more critique groups that I can count! Once we can all be together again, there is also a quiet writing space.

Become published! We publish an anthology of our members every two years. The first, aptly named FIRSTS, is a collection of short stories. AN ASSORTMENT OF ANIMALS, FRIENDS AND ANEMONES, and GNOMES AND UNGNOMES are illustrated poetry collections authored and illustrated by Writers’ Loft members.
